• To-Do List for International Students

    • Apply for admission to The New School. International students studying on an F-1 or J-1 student visa are eligible for merit-based aid consideration, which is part of the admission process.
    • Review your estimated Cost of Attendance and develop a preliminary budget. Include all of your resources and expenses for one academic year.
    • Search and apply for external scholarships.
    • Returning and continuing students can review any outstanding requirements and their financial aid award on their MyNewSchool portal.

    • Newly admitted students can view and accept their financial aid award and notifications online. You may also have documents to submit or other requirements to complete.
    • If you need additional financing, review options such as private loans and monthly payment plans. Private loans require a U.S. co-signer.
