• Financial Aid Summer Checklist

    All students who received a need-based grant and/or merit scholarship from The New School during the previous fall or spring semester will remain eligible for this funding. The award amount will be determined based on their enrollment. This application is required only for students who received institutional aid.

    • Complete the Summer Financial Aid Application by the priority date, May 27.
    • Federal Pell Grant: These grants are available to all students who qualify on the basis of their 2024–2025 FAFSA.
    • Federal Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans: These loans are available to students who did not accept the maximum loan amount during the fall and spring.
    • Federal Parent PLUS Loans: Parents who wish to borrow additional funds must complete the Loan Adjustment form.
    • Federal Graduate PLUS Loans: These loans are available to graduate students who request additional funds.
