    Advising
Food for Thought is a project that explores and questions the nature and meaning of food in contemporary and historical contexts. Exploring the still life as a photographic genre, this project features a series of images that play with and challenge pre-fabricated semiotics of food and examines our individual and collective relationship with food. Food for Thought investigates the way certain foods are linked to cultural practices and historical themes, such as environmental sustainability, gender performance, and socioeconomic issues. The project not only plays with the possibilities of elevating food to an art form by stripping it of its original purpose but also creates visual metaphors that comment on and question the role of food in our lives.
