    TIME-STREET-SCAPE

My thesis is designed to slow down the experience of time in the urban streetscape by drawing pedestrians’ attention to exceptional (sublime) relationships in the environment.

It proposes a new way to design urban environments that emphasizes experience and the impact of the city on our emotions over vehicular traffic and commerce. Through this approach, I advocate for a city where residents are treated not as opportunities for extraction but for what they are—human beings who rely on their environments to nurture them.
