    Advising

I use the structure of the room to create sculptural forms that evolve from the space available. The wall becomes the ground, the earth, the soil from which the easily malleable material grows. This constructed growth, as a fabricated alteration of- or addition to the walls or space, spring from the architecture. I want the artwork to seemingly originate from the structure underneath. This piece explores how a large-scale sculptural installation may affect us, how it can alter the way we approach art and how we view ourselves in relation to it. Looking up at the installation, or walking underneath it, the spectator engages his or her own body while experiencing the piece.
