    Wennie Huang is a mixed media and installation artist who has exhibited her work at Wave Hill, Bronx Museum of the Arts, Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Project Space, Munson-Williams-Proctor Art Institute, Chicago Cultural Center, and International Print Center, as well as in group exhibitions in Florida, Texas, California, Pennsylvania, Argentina and Japan. She holds a BFA in Painting from Pratt Institute, and an MFA in Printmaking from the University of Michigan. She has participated in residencies at the Center for Book Arts, Sculpture Space, Lower East Side Printshop, Dieu Donne Papermill, and the Ragdale Foundation, and she is the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and New York Foundation for the Arts. In 2012, Wennie completed a commission through Percent for Art for the creation of permanent public art at a new elementary/middle school in the Inwood neighborhood of upper Manhattan. She lives and works in Brooklyn with her young son.
