    Nishan Kazazian

    Profile

    Nishan Kazazian is a licensed American architect and artist who is presently in private practice in New York and East Hampton. He is the Co-Founder and principle of the A&A Design Group in Chelsea which specializes in architecture, interior design, and the integration of art in architecture with commercial and residential projects in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Nishan sees architecture, interior design and art as inseparable from each other. He has a Masters in Architecture from Columbia University, a Masters in Art and Art Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a Teaching Diploma from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (with distinction) from American University of Beirut.

    A former Fulbright Fellow, and recipient of many awards, Nishan is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Society of American Registered Architects and Architectural League. As an educator, he has taught at NYU and Parsons, and has been invited as a critic and a discussant at various universities and organizations including Columbia University, PRATT, CUNY, City Tech, NYIT, Lebanese American University and AIA. He has also given public presentations at CUNY, AIA, the Parrish Museum of Art, City Tech – NYC, the William Alanson White Institute and elsewhere.

    His work has been featured and his opinions published at ArchDaily, STIRWorld, Kienviet (Vietnam), the East Hampton Star, ArteDossie (Milan, Italy), Middle East Architect Magazine (Dubai, UAE), Oculus (AIA), The New York Times.

    He is presently working on his forthcoming book, “Connecting the Dots: Art, Design and Architecture”
