• Profile:

    Julia Molloy Gallagher, AIA, LEED AP, M.Arch, is an architect, strategist, and interior designer. With over 15 years of experience conceiving and managing multidisciplinary design projects both domestically and abroad, Gallagher’s professional experience ranges from installation artwork, interior design, architecture, urban design, curatorial and exhibition design, community engagement, leadership coaching to professional practice. Gallagher’s growing list of world renowned clients and collaborators include Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Gehry Partners, Mattel Brands, L Brands, Overseas Building Operations with the US Department of State, National Park Services, the Kennedy Center, and Van Alen Institute. At Parsons, The News School of Design, School of Constructed Environments, she has taught two sections of Principles of Interior Design, one section of Strategic Design for Transformative (Regenerative) Environments for the Interiors, one section of Interior Design Studio I, Design Studio II, and is currently co-teaching the MFA Interior Design Thesis Studio.  Gallagher has also been Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation, and Planning and at New York Institute of Technology.  Gallagher is the director of Julia Molloy Gallagher Architecture, PLLC (JMGA).
