    Jeff Beebe

    Profile

    I received my BFA in Figure/Life Drawing from the American Academy of Art in Chicago (yes, that is a real school), and my MFA from School of Visual Arts (SVA) here in New York City. I have taught both art and design in NYC and Chicago. In addition, I spent over a decade working as a graphic designer in the publishing and educational industries.  

    Over the last fifteen years, I have created the world of Refractoria, a comprehensive imagino-ordinary world that is equal parts autobiography and pure fantasy. In general, I draw every day—it is a habit I've had since I was a kid.
