Daniel Frumhoff is a Design Director, Motion Designer, and Design Educator based in New York City. Currently Art Directing at Apple, he collabs with the Stanford d.school, teaches Graphic Design and Typography at Parsons, The New School, and has taught design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. He’s worked with/for Pentagram, Landor, Jones Knowles Ritchie, Interbrand, Naturalizer, Pinterest, Snapchat, PepsiCo, the Lincoln Center, the Brand New School, Perky Bros, and Practice. Daniel holds an MFA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, earned four Certificates from the Basel School of Design, and received his BFA from Webster University in Graphic Design. His work has been recognized by the Type Director’s Club, The One Club, Slanted, Communication Arts, Core77 Design Awards, Print Magazine, Graphis, AIGA, GDUSA, Morisawa Type Design, Paris Design Awards, Indigo Design Awards, Adobe, and Typeroom.
Research Interests
Typography, Graphic Design, Branding, Motion Design, and Publication Design.
