    Caryn Pang

    Profile

    Dr. Caryn Pang is an esteemed faculty member at Hult International Business School in Boston and Parsons School of Design in NYC. She has over 15 years of experience as a retail business executive and has consulted for international businesses, which has enabled her to impart her knowledge of marketing, branding, and business fundamentals to her students.

    Dr. Pang has worked with several leading retail companies like Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, TJX Corporation, and Macy's. She integrates the latest business and marketing strategies into her classroom teachings to equip her students with practical skills to prepare them for the industry. Dr. Pang's research focuses on cross-cultural consumer consumption and business strategies at the intersection of hospitality and retail. She earned her Ph.D. from Iowa State University.

    Dr. Pang is a 2024 recipient of the ExW ExtraOrdinary Women Award from the Mayor of Boston’s Office of Women’s Advancement. In 2024 and Dr. Pang spoke at the inaugural fashion and beauty track for the SXSW Conference. Her presentation topic was about the positive impact of mutual mentorship and how strong communities can be formed through mentorship. As part of her platform for empowering others Dr. Pang’s TEDx Talk in July 2024 focused on strategies for building a strong personal brand.
