Recent Updates: The New School has released its academic plan for 2020-21 and a phased reopening plan for its New York campus. Please check the Parsons Paris website for information about our Paris campus. Learn more.

  • Orientation is designed to help introduce and acclimate new students and families to all of the resources and opportunities available to students as they start their journey as New School students. Students will meet the faculty and staff who are here to support them and begin to build academic and social communities with new classmates from around the world.

This event is mandatory for all students who would normally be on campus and not required for students enrolled in online-only programs.

All incoming visiting and exchange students must attend the required Orientation events held by their New School college or academic department and required university-wide sessions.

Visit our Virtual Orientation Hub and check your New School email account regularly for information about Pre-Orientation activities, Orientation Week, and Extended Orientation. And if you haven’t yet, don’t forget to follow us on Instagram.
