• Congratulations on your decision to join our community, and welcome to The New School! New Student Orientation for the fall 2026 semester will be held from Sunday, August 23, to Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

    Parents and families will attend Family Orientation on either Friday, August 21, or Saturday, August 22. More information on Parent and Family Orientation will be provided soon. Contact [email protected] with any questions. 

    Orientation introduces new students and families to all the resources and opportunities available to New School students as they start their journey at the university. Students will meet the faculty and staff who are here to support them and begin to build academic and social communities with classmates from around the world.

    Attendance at Orientation is required for all students in on-campus programs and is optional for students enrolled in online-only programs.

Undergraduate Adult Learners
