  • At the School of Media Studies, we prepare you for a fulfilling career as a media artist, producer, scholar, or leader in the creative and communication industries. We look for students who come to us with a passion and drive to reinvent media industries and create new narratives.

    Selecting the right program and learning about funding opportunities can be a challenging process. Our college admission team is available to assist you on this critical journey, helping you find an academic path that will make you grow exponentially on a professional and personal level.

  • Apply to the School of Media Studies using our online form. You will also submit transcripts and other  information required for your program.

  • The New School is committed to alleviating the cost of graduate education whenever possible. Students admitted to the School of Media Studies are eligible for diverse funding opportunities, including merit-based institutional scholarships that cover up to 75 percent of tuition cost.

To apply to any of our undergraduate programs (except the Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs) complete and submit the Common App online.

Undergraduate Adult Learners

To apply to any of our Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.

Graduates

To apply to any of our Master's, Doctoral, Professional Studies Diploma, and Graduate Certificate programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.
