• The Fulbright U.S. Student Program (open to U.S. citizens) is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The program offers fellowships abroad to graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals, scientists, and artists for one academic year. Recipients of Fulbright grants are selected on the basis of academic or professional achievement, as well as demonstrated leadership potential in their fields. Please see the Fulbright U.S. Student Program Flyer for more details.

The New School supports current students and alumni in applying to this prestigious program and is proud to be an active producer of grantees since the 1940s. New School students and alumni have been selected for awards in the U.S. Student Program every year consecutively since 1991. All students and alumni who have U.S. citizenship are encouraged to consider this opportunity for their post-graduate educational and professional development and to use campus resources for application support and assistance.
