    Africa Is a Country is a site of opinion, analysis, and new writing on and from the African left. The digital publication was founded in 2009 by Sean Jacobs, associate professor of international affairs at The New School. Africa Is a Country has a weekly podcast offering analysis of current African events, culture, and sports and a monthly radio show exploring the music of the African continent and its diaspora.
