The Communications and Media Relations team works closely with the university leadership to identify important initiatives to highlight in the media. Its staff are
available as a resource for faculty and administrative staff who are contacted by the media or wish to interest reporters in their work. The office also serves the community during crises and coordinates emergency communications within the university
and externally to local media.
Media requests must be coordinated through the Communications and Media Relations Office.
- If you would like to recommend a project or course for promotion to external media, please contact your supervisor or dean with details for consideration.
- If a member of the media contacts you, please inform your supervisor or dean as well as a member of the Communications and Media Relations office. The office will work directly with the staff member and journalist to assess the request and coordinate
a response, interviews, and/or filming or photography on campus.
