    Richard Wolff

    Profile

    Richard D. Wolff is a visiting professor in the Julien J. Studley Graduate Programs in International Affairs at The New School, and Professor Emeritus of Economics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has a PhD in Economics from Yale University as well as degrees from Harvard (history BA) and Stanford (economics MA). Wolff has taught economics at Yale and the City University of New York as well as at the University of Massachusetts. He has also been a visiting professor at the University of Paris I (Sorbonne). He now lives in Manhattan with his wife, a practicing psychotherapist. He has authored or co-authored 10 books and over 50 scholarly articles and 75 popular articles. His recent work has concentrated on analyzing the causes and alternative solutions to the current global economic crisis.
