Dining Dollars Plus can also be used at New School cafeterias, as well as off-campus food merchants. Off-campus purchases made with Dining Dollars Plus incur sales tax. At the cafeterias, the cash register automatically charges the Dining Dollars account first, but once your Dining Dollars have been used up, the system will charge your Dining Dollars Plus account.
Any money left in your Dining Dollars Plus account at the end of the fall semester will roll forward to the spring semester, but balances remaining at the end of the spring semester are forfeited. Balances cannot be transferred between Dining Dollars, Dining Dollars Plus, and Newcard Cash credit.
