Licensing Program Code of Conduct
The New School’s Licensing Program values ethical practices, attention to sustainability, and quality in our design partners, suppliers, manufacturers, and products. We believe that conducting business responsibly benefits society as well as our various
stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, partners, and community members. We strive to create a positive impact on the environment and society through responsible sourcing and production. We seek partnership with vendors that meet
the following criteria:
- Employ ethical fair labor practices
- Use environmentally responsible, sustainable materials
- Make products in the United States
- Are owned by or employ New School alumni
- Are local or bespoke independent vendors
- Are BIPOC- and women-owned businesses or suppliers
We expect all our suppliers, manufacturers, and products to adhere to the code of conduct outlined below.
