• The New School Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL) program is designed to accommodate aspiring and working English language teachers anywhere in the world. The entire curriculum is available online, giving students the option of completing the degree online or taking a combination of online and on-campus courses.

    Online courses take place in a state-of-the-art environment based on the popular Canvas interface. You can access classes 24/7 from anywhere in the world where there’s a computer, a browser, and an Internet connection.

    To preview an online course, log into Canvas

    1. Click on the link: “Need a Canvas Account?”
    2. On the sign-up page, select “I’m A Student”
    3. You will be asked to provide the following to make an account:
      • Join Code: B89GKD
      • Name: Enter your full name
      • Username: Use your email as your username
      • Create a password

    After creating an account, you will be able to enter the MA TESOL online course.
