We are excited to announce a phased rollout of a new performance management process, with changes based on best practices and organizational priorities. This new process is designed to help employees perform better in their roles and advance their careers and provides transparency around recognition and rewards.
The way our employees work and where they work have changed substantially over the last two years. It is important for the university to have a structure that enables managers to oversee performance consistently and that supports employees with clear professional and operational goals regardless of where they work.
Performance management includes ongoing activities and touchpoints throughout the year. Managers review job performance competencies and expectations, set operational and learning goals that align with leadership priorities, facilitate constructive feedback and communication, and recognize performance.
See the university performance management website for more information, resources, and guidance.
