    Thomas Laval

    Profile

    Thomas Laval is an art historian, curator, and educator. He holds a master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and a MA in Contemporary Art and Curatorial Practice. He is currently a PhD candidate studying the role of the artist as a researcher at the turn of the 21st century.

    Laval has collaborated on curatorial and archival work with institutions such as the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Museo Reina Sofia in Madrid, the LaM in Villeneuve d’Ascq, and Kadist in Paris. His curatorial work has led him to collaborate with and exhibit the work of artists such as Adelita Husni-Bey, Hanne Leppard, Irène Mélix, Lu Pingyuan Maha Yammine, and Funa Ye.
