As part of The New School, Parsons Paris is a community of innovators dedicated to new approaches, new ways of thinking, and new solutions. Today we are called to live these values, to bring our campus and community together in inspiring new ways, and to re-imagine our educational experience in the 2020–2021 academic year. As we all continue to confront the ongoing challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, one thing remains constant: the value of a New School education.
The spring 2021 semester runs from January 18 to May 12, with courses delivered in a hybrid format, combining online and on-campus learning. Students will have access to campus starting January 11 for equipment use; details of process and hours will be shared in early January.
Program directors and coordinators have communicated detailed information about course delivery for spring 2021. Our goal is to enable students to attend classes in person as soon as possible while respecting the French government mandate. While we look forward to being back on campus for classes, we will continue to support students wherever they may be located during the spring semester.
Teaching and Learning
Program directors and faculty have adapted curricula in accordance with the content of each program and course to ensure a rigorous and relevant learning experience.
Student Services
All students will be able to access Student Success and services including the English Writing Lab, ESL, French tutoring, immigration, healthcare and insurance support, counseling, academic advising, career advising, and housing.
Future Updates
This plan may change depending on the development of the pandemic and the mandates of the French government.
