    Martin Shapiro

    Profile

    Martin Shapiro, originally from Columbia, Missouri, is a pianist, trumpeter, trombonist, composer and educator.  He moved to New York City in 2017 to study at the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music and perform professionally.  Coming from a jazz background, Martin performs in a wide variety of styles in New York City and abroad in a host of prestigious venues including The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center, Steinway Hall, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Plaza Hotel.  Martin always aspires to bring a unique artistic touch to everything he does, whether it's on the stage or in the classroom.
