Chris Steib is a digital product strategist and user experience designer. Throughout his fifteen-year career in web and mobile development, he has worked with companies small and large across a variety of industries including two-sided marketplaces, ecommerce, content, B2B, utilities, and consumer tech. He has led Product and UX teams at Thrillist, JackThreads, Delivery.com, and XO Group, Inc. (recently acquired for $933M).
Today, Chris runs a bootstrapped agency called Void Digital where he helps tech companies improve their business performance through user-centered product strategy, design, and processes. His clients include DoSomething.org, The Historic Districs Council, alwaysforme.com (acquired in 2018), buildbook.co, kazzam.com, and metricstory.com. He has also designed and launched several of his own projects, including Transom, a popular note-taking app for fiction writers.
A former English teacher and speechwriter, Chris is passionate about writing and storytelling in our tech-centric world. He's a boxing enthusiast, ukuleleist, rock climber, and devout minimalist.
