Programs offered at Parsons’ School of Design Strategies (SDS) engage with integrated and transdisciplinary design, strategic design and management, and urban design from many perspectives and employing a variety of studio and research skills. SDS is a laboratory in which to test new ways of improving urban environments, business models, and social systems. In SDS-based labs such as DESIS (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability) Lab, you conduct innovative, human-centered design research to meet needs ranging from elder care to transportation alternatives, becoming a catalyst for change in cities, services, and networked systems.

galleries anchor your investigations. Resources like the Tishman Environment and Design Center (TEDC) provide rich learning opportunities including internships. Configurable project rooms, Arnold Hall Multimedia Laboratory, which provides 600 networked workstations and 30+ servers, and other
