    Susan Stillman

    Profile

    Stillman began her career as an Illustrator in NY. Clients included New York Magazine, New York Times, Simon and Schuster, Beth Israel Medical Center, and Pfizer International. She transitioned to painting full time in the '90s and her work has been exhibited at many galleries through the years. Trips to England and Wales inspired a series of landscape paintings which became the basis for Home Portraits, a business Ms. Stillman began in 1989. Through Home Portraits, she was commissioned to paint heirloom representations of people's homes. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, New York Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and many others. Ms. Stillman has been teaching at Parsons since 1983.
