Why did you decide to study at Parsons Paris?
I wanted to study in Paris and improve my French, and the Eugene Lang College courses taught in Paris sounded good. I liked the focus on literary modernism and have always been fascinated by the time Gertrude Stein, Ezra Pound, and Hemingway spent in Paris. And as an Environmental Studies major at Lang, I knew that there would be a lot going on in Paris before COP21 (the Paris Climat 2015: Make It Work climate accord), since the city is an epicenter of the environmentalism movement.

How long did you stay as a mobility student?
I studied at Parsons Paris for one semester.

    What were your favorite classes?
    Consuming Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast
    Urban Walking Tours
    Research and Development

What activities did you take part in at Parsons Paris?
I had the opportunity to collaborate briefly with Sciences Po on Paris Climat 2015: Make It Work (POC21), their model COP conference, which was really great. I also attended the OuiShare Fest, which celebrates collaborative economies.

How did living in Paris affect your experience and studies?
I loved living in Paris. The city’s cafés, parks, and museums are conducive to scholarship. I attended many free lectures that were fantastic.

Did you get any internship experience?
    I interned for POC21.

How would you describe your experience at Parsons Paris?
I had a fantastic semester at Parsons Paris, which is an invigorating and creative learning community in a marvelous city.
