    Julie Hardy

    Julie Hardy is an established songwriter, vocal coach, producer, and session singer based in Brooklyn, NY. She works out of recording studio Creekside Sound in Gowanus, Brooklyn where she frequently collaborates with writer/producer Mike MacAllister. In addition to the New School Hardy is also on the faculty at the Clive Davis Institute at NYU where she teaches Songwriting and Fundamentals of Music Production. As a vocal coach and producer Hardy has worked with Joey Bada$$, 070 Shake, Rachel Platten, Donna Missal, Natalia Kills, Enisa, Tyler James Bellinger, Mothica and Tanners. Hardy has extensive experience with developing new artists and has helped artists sign to major publishing and record deals. She is currently signed to a publishing deal with Kobalt Music.

    Julie Hardy made her television debut on Saturday Night Live where she performed with Ellie Goulding.  Later that year she performed on the Late Show with David Letterman with St. Vincent. As a writer, she has had her songs featured in many advertisements, film trailers, video games, and TV & Film. Some placements of note include the Entourage Movie film trailer, the film Eighth Grade, advertisements for Diet Coke, Lexus, Haagen Dazs, Nike, Old Navy and TV shows Grey’s Anatomy and Shameless. Hardy co-wrote and produced Donna Missal’s viral single “Keep Lying”. As a session singer, she has been featured on various national advertisements including Coke "Generous World", Toyota "Cinderella" and Maybelline.

    Julie Hardy is the lead singer of Brooklyn based electro pop band Clementine and the Galaxy and retro rock group Ethel and the Chordtones. Hardy received her Masters degree from New England Conservatory of Music in Jazz Performance and a BA from the University of New Hampshire in Composition. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA and AFM.
