Organization development (OD) practitioners recognize the humanistic role of managers and leaders and work to co-create and facilitate imaginative, systems-embedded organizational change. Our professional certificate is designed for current internal and
external practitioners to build on their professional knowledge and those wishing to enter the OD field.
The Milano School approach is one of highly engaged learning carried out in action-oriented projects where students develop their capacities through reflective practice.
The Organization Development certificate curriculum is critically reflective, rooted in real-world experience,
and flexible in delivery. Our focus on change leadership competencies prepares students to work with a wide diversity of cultural and social identity groups within the global community in organizations that cross sectors.
Students in this program also benefit from the resources, student networks, and faculty expertise of a university-wide community engaged in management and entrepreneurship.
Building your professional portfolio is important in today's shifting management environment. The Milano School offers a range of advanced study professional certificates that allow you to expand upon your success by combining socially responsible business
theory with hands-on practical experience.
Applicants to a post-master’s professional certificate program will have completed a graduate degree from a recognized, accredited institution. Students come from diverse fields, including law (JD), business (MBA and MS), public administration (MPA),
architecture and design (MFA, MA), and engineering and natural science (MS).

enrollment in the Organization Development Certificate Program is open to New School graduate degree candidates outside of the
MS in Organizational Change Management (OCM). If you are enrolled in a New School graduate program outside of OCM and considering
the Organization Development Certificate, please contact program manager Suzanne Bostwick to inform the program of your intent to pursue the certificate and discuss requirements.
