Veronica Lawlor's elegant draftsmanship has led her around the world, creating award winning reportage illustration for numerous design and branding agencies. She brings the same spirit to her editorial, documentary, and publishing work. Clients include AMC, 3M, Brooks Brothers, Gallo Wines, Hyatt Hotels, JP Morgan Chase, Lego, Microsoft, the Smithsonian, Warner Brothers, and others. Early in her career she was an Art Director of Marketing for DC Comics. Currently a member of Studio 1482 Illustration, Ms. Lawlor works both on-location and from her NYC studio. She is the author/illustrator of several books for children and adults, and teaches location drawing workshops worldwide. Her interest in urban history has resulted in a series of location drawings and paintings of abandoned industrial sites of the Northeast, which was exhibited in her solo exhibit at Emerge Gallery in Saugerties, NY in July/August 2023. Veronica is a native New York City resident.

Awards And Honors
Veronica Lawlor's illustration has been honored by the National Council for Social Studies, the Society of Experiential Design, American Illustration, the Society of Illustrators, the World Illustration Awards, and the Society of Illustrators of LA. Her 2014 reportage campaign for Chase Private Client was awarded a Silver Addy. Veronica was the North American representative for the Canson Prix in 2011, and her work was presented at the Louvre.
