As a result of my work in painting and teaching, I've become very interested in the use of color as a manipulator of visual experience. Scientists (psychologists and physiologists) have been studying the psycho-physiological effects on various systems of the body. My area of concern is the results of these effects and the use of color in giving information and controlling or directing experience. The manipulation of meaning through color.
