    Michelle Nahum-Albright

    Profile

    Good design is a narrative communicating with style, clarity and elegance. Michelle helps students develop a visual language based on concept and contemporary culture. Designer, educator and author, her investigations explore the storytelling possibilities and intersections of words, images and the crafted object. She sees design as a combination of perpetual learning, invention, innovation and personal vision. 


    Teaching experience: Pratt Institute, Fashion Institute of Technology, Kean University. Previously Senior Design Director Elizabeth Arden Co. Clients: Coty Beauty USA Inc., Eli Lilly and Company, Elizabeth Arden Inc., M-Real Co., Maidenform Inc, Unilever Prestige Cosmetics, Essie Cosmetics, Gauntlet Press.
     


    Degrees Held

    MFA -Design and Technology from Parsons,  MA i- Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism - the Newschool University , BFA i- Communication Design Pratt Institute.

    Additional studies: Penland School of Crafts, Asheville, North Carolina, The Center for Book Arts, New York City and The Summer Writers Colony at The Newschool.
