    Profile

    Over 10 years experience in the fields of:

    • Puppetry, (on and off Broaway, as well as film and telivision.)
    • Scenic Design, set design and construction 
    • Carpentry,  focus on furniture

    5yrs experiece as a Shop Technician, @ Parsons, The New School, focus on wood shop and metal shop.

    4yrs experience teaching at Parsons and the School of Vissual Arts. Courses included: Puppetry, Advanced Puppetry, Space and Materiality and Models Mockups and Prototypes. 

    With strong making skills in materials like paper, foams, fabric, plastics, wood and metal, my focus is a hands on approach to guiding students in bringing their ideas to a physical reality. I teach safe, proper and precise practices to machines and tools to allow for best desired outcomes. I set an encouraging environment that allows for students to learn at thier individual pace.  With advanced skills in mechanical movement, connections and articulation from my years in Puppetry I am a great resource for those looking to explore related work.
