    Jessica Marshall

    Profile

    Dr. Jessica Marshall (she/her/hers) is a member of the writing faculty at Parsons and an adjunct professor in Pace University's Women’s and Gender Studies and English Departments. A former lecturer in History and Literature at Harvard University, Jessica returned to higher education after careers in K-12 education innovation and multi-platform publishing. She was co-founder and Chief Strategic Officer at LightSail Education, an award-winning K-12 literacy platform. Prior to LightSail, Jessica designed, raised funds for, and launched union-supported charter schools in New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans. Marshall has produced multiplatform educational content for Hill & Wang and National Geographic, and held senior digital roles at Time, Inc., Lifetime Entertainment, TV Guide, and ABC Disney. She is currently the top-ranked powerlifter in her age category in the USAPL.
