Claudia Marina is a Part-Time Assistant Professor at Parsons School of Design. Her work is centered in feminist design discourse and theories of everyday life, particularly what it means to perform and consume design. Her latest research examines material, spatial and percieved difference in understanding what design is in culture as well as issues of labor and maintenance of design.
Her work appears in Feminist Designer (MIT Press, 2023), Wild Things: The Material Culture of Everyday Life (Bloomsbury, 2020), Design and Culture, and The Avery Review.
