    Profile

In 2021 I started Nonlinearbooks, a a publishing experiment dedicated to advancing the form, function and language of the photobook. Nonlinearbooks is also dedicated to supporting not only underrepresented concepts but specifically underrepresented photobook makers. I am motivated by narrative structures of the photobook and I remain deeply inspired by photography. The photograph is an object that has the power to be an illusion, a representation, a reminder, a signifier and most importantly a conversation. We make photographs and write and design photobooks to talk about the present, the past and how to navigate the future.  I am honored to have our phonebooks in the collections of The International Center of Photography Library, The New York Public Library, Ronald Feldman Gallery, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University, The Sloane Art Library at the University of North Carolina, and the Hellenic Centre for Photography in Athens, Greece. Forming relationships with book sellers and book communities is very important to me and proudly I can say my titles are stocked in stores around the world; Tokyo, Brussels, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Mexico City and New York City.
