  • In this dynamic BFA program, you explore the intersections of art, design, and technology. You become a design thinker and art practitioner through work grounded in a social and political context including the climate crisis, ethics, and data transparency. Graduates of the program contribute to emerging areas of creative practice at the intersection of ecology, politics, anthropology, and the human condition. This program is designed specifically for the Parsons Paris campus, where you benefit from access to European art and culture, critical discourse, and a unique interdisciplinary approach.

    Program Highlights

    • Interdisciplinary Artistry

Explore practices transcending traditional disciplines in studio projects that combine theory and practice, from ideation and research to writing and prototyping.

    • Human-Centered Approaches

Develop solid skills in storytelling and creative expression that allow you to contribute to society through work in art media, technology, and design.

    • Critical Context

Join students and faculty in an engaged community with a range of views and practices, working through the art ecosystem to express yourself creatively.

    • Purposeful Practice

The program is guided by the conviction that artists should play an essential role in society, addressing issues such as the environment and social justice in research and design practices.
