    Profile

Alan Ruiz is a visual artist whose work explores architectural space as both a perceptual and a political medium. Engaging the standardized partitions and enclosures that regulate and determine the administrative and physical organization of our built environment, his work explores how these formal conditions can, in turn, reproduce social hierarchies.
