    Jay Bianchi

    Profile

    JAY BIANCHI is NYC based pianist, producer, composer and educator. He holds a performance certificate from Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, a Master of Music in jazz studies from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Music from SUNY at Fredonia in music education. Bianchi has toured and performed internationally with Grammy award-winning artist Nigel Kennedy and composter/flutist David Heath. His recent projects include two CDs, Jay is Cool and 11211 (lovestress records), performing and recording with John Patitucci, as well as co-producing new artist Liam Hendrix Heath. Recently Bianchi has worked with (fellow NSJCM faculty member) La Tanya Hall, Bette Midler, Glenn Close, Leslie Gore, producer Angelo DiPippo, and Duncan Sheik, and has performed on Broadway in the musical BILLY ELLIOT.
